I figured I could start posting some writing prompts for everyone to use! I'm hoping to post them weekly, but it may be bi-weekly as well. If you use any of these prompts, share the story in the comments, via a link or other form of sharing. Here are this week's prompts.
✯ I stepped into the car, and bottom fell through. "Shit," my father said.
✯ You wake in a strange place which smells of new book pages. The ground under you is white, and you smear ink as you walk.
✯ He(she/they) picked up the phone. "We're returning your call about the demons in your calculator."
✯ You put on a song and allow it to consume all of you attention. Turns out it consumed you, too.
✯ Somedays the art seems to draw itself. Today, the art was drawing me.
✯ You find $300 has appeared in your bank account. There is no transaction recording this, and the bank can't figure out what's going on, either.
